Businessman Mavava Sikhakhane has been elected as the new IFP Chairperson in eThekwini.
Mavava Sikhakhane is reported to have competed against Mr Maxwell Nxumalo for the position of IFP Chairperson in eThekwini.
Sikhakhane emerged victorious after receiving 51 votes, while Maxwell Nxumalo received 46 votes.
His election comes as political parties intensify their activities in eThekwini ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.
