Man Injured During Alleged Attempted Robbery in Wynberg
A 23-year-old man suspected of involvement in a series of criminal activities is recovering from gunshot wounds following an attempted robbery in Wynberg that went wrong. The man, identified as Kosinathi Molefe from Alexandra, was injured during the incident, which took place on Thursday evening at approximately 6pm.
According to reports, Molefe and three alleged accomplices targeted what they believed to be an easy victim in the area. However, the situation escalated, resulting in Molefe being shot. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding arrests or charges, and the other suspects are believed to have fled the scene.
