Boyfriend on the Run After Allegedly Stabbing Girlfriend to Death in ESoshanguve
Police are searching for a man who is alleged to have fatally stabbed his girlfriend in Soshanguve Block F East, north of Pretoria, Gauteng.
According to reports, the young woman was allegedly killed on Thursday, 9 July 2026. Her body was discovered the following day, Friday, 10 July, inside a rented room, where she was found lying in a pool of blood.
The victim’s family alleges that the room was rented by the suspect, identified as Germany Sedupelele. They further allege that he fled the scene after the incident. The family has since appealed to the public for assistance in locating him and has been widely sharing his photograph on social media.
Police have not yet announced any arrests, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
The case has sparked renewed calls for stronger action against gender-based violence (GBV), with many expressing solidarity with the victim’s family and demanding that those responsible be brought to justice.
