Gqeberha, 11 December 2025 – Tributes are pouring in for TikTok star, rapper, and dancer Junior King, real name Dugulth Ferreira, who tragically died in a head-on collision early Thursday morning.
King, originally from Gqeberha, was known for his energetic dance videos and sharp lyrical style that captivated audiences on TikTok. His choreography and skits quickly gained traction, and in recent months he expanded his artistic repertoire with the release of The Revenge Album on 5 December.
The popular creator’s life was cut short at around 07:25 AM when emergency services were called to a collision between a light truck and a sedan on the N1 near Verkeerdevlei. Responders found the two vehicles had collided head-on, and King was tragically declared dead at the scene. Three other individuals sustained moderate injuries and were taken for further treatment.
Graphic videos circulating on social media show the devastating aftermath, depicting King with a bloodied face lying in the back of the vehicle. Unconfirmed reports suggest he may have been en route to collect his children at the time of the crash.
