Soweto-born entrepreneur Vusumuzi Mbatha (44), the owner of Dungeon LLC, is using his growing success in the United States to unlock new opportunities for South Africans.
Mbatha, widely known as Ndabezitha, was raised in the dusty streets of Ennerdale, Johannesburg, where he says perseverance and pride in his heritage shaped his path to entrepreneurship.
Founded in 2021, Dungeon LLC operates in both South Africa and the United States, with a focus on:
Logistics
Economic access
Leadership development
Renewable energy
Mbatha’s business journey in America began with buying and selling cars, a venture that later evolved into Dungeon Trucking — a company that now employs 10 American workers.
His long-term vision is to outsource South African talent to the US, creating stronger economic ties between the countries and opening global opportunities for local professionals.
He urged the South African government to build meaningful relationships with diaspora communities through structures like the Imbizo Host Committee, and to support initiatives that go beyond entertainment and sports.
“Growing up in Soweto taught me not to give up on my goals. My aim is to uplift those who come after me while building bridges between our countries,” Mbatha said.
Mbatha hopes that his journey will inspire a new wave of globally competitive South African talent ready to contribute on the world stage.
