Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) is urgently calling for additional rescue and medical teams to assist their officers and paramedics on site. Survivors have reportedly communicated via voice notes from beneath the collapsed structure, providing critical information for rescuers.
Authorities are stressing the urgency of the situation, warning that immediate intervention is required to save lives. Teams with specialised equipment and medical expertise are being mobilised to the site to conduct extraction and provide first aid to the victims.
